Ford Announces 7 Millionth Transit Van

Ford recently announced it had produced the 7 millionth transit van.  That's a lot of vans and to put this into perspective that's almost one van for everyone living in Scotland and Wales combined!  The spokesman said parked end to end 'that would be enough cars to stretch from London to Sydney and back again'.  Well done Ford on this huge achievement!

This announcement came as a new factory opened up in Nanchang, China.  The factory opening was a big enough event for Ford president and CEO Alan Mulally to be present.
