APS PP50 is a high-quality 50mm professional backing pad suitable for Proxxon angle polishers WP/E and WP/A.
The APS PP50 is a combination of a 9mm high, flexible polyurethane plate with hook & loop attachment and a backing plate holder made of chrome-plated metal shaft with an internal thread size of M8 x 0.75.
APS PP50 backing pad is thus screwed directly to the drive spindle or the PVA extension attached to it of the Proxxon angle polisher, thus ensuring a firm and resilient connection. Nothing wobbles here and doesn't break off either. The backing disc is made of soft polyurethane and, thanks to its flexible, foam rubber-like nature, supports the best possible compensation in the event of incorrect guidance as well as effective pressure distribution in tilted positions, especially when using abrasive blades.

The conical shape of the backing plate enables an optimal view from above and perfect guidance control in critical border areas. APS PP50 backing pad suitable for Proxxon angle polishers WP/A and WP/A is an ideal replacement for the original Proxxon backing pad and enables unrestricted use with the PVA extension as well as a quick change between the 30mm and 50mm backing pad. The 50mm hook & loop attachment reliably accommodates all polishing pads and polishing sponges in sizes from 50 to 60mm. For best polishing results, we recommend 50mm APS Mini and 50mm Zoom polishing pads.
