Description

The Throttle Body is part of the engines air intake system what is usually located between the air filter box and the intake manifold, it controls the amount of cold air that is allowed into the engine and is controlled by the accelerator, the further down the accelerator is pressed the more open the throttle body will be. For 1.2 and 1.4 petrol engines found in various VW, Seat and Skoda applications.
