New VW Event in the New Forest

V Dubs in the Forest is taking place on 18th - 20th September 2009 at New Park, Brockenhurst, in the heart of the New Forest and all owners and enthusiasts are welcome to attend!

Tickets cost £20 for the weekend and a whole host of activities will be taking place over the weekend!

Friday will be yours to spend relaxing and enjoying catching up with others with entertainment be provided for both evenings suitable for all ages.  Saturday there will be a whole host of games and events taking place on site for all ages, including a forest drive for all those wishing to take part.  
Sunday is yours to explore the forest, listen to a talk by one of our local rangers or just chat to other on site before you head home!

You can come on site any time from midday on Friday 18th if you are camping for the whole weekend at only £20 per pitch and you can register when you arrive!  

If you just want to visit for the day the gates open at 10am on Saturday 19th and as mentioned above only costs £5 per car to come along!!!!

Weekend info!!

Friday - arrive from midday and spend the afternoon in the surrounding areas or on site relaxing. Head to the shop for a bbq and some beers or just go for a walk in the forest - you decide! Friday night there will be a unique didgeridoo performance and a drum workshop for anyone interested in listening or having a go.

Saturday there will be a food van open early for campers to get a good breakfast bap and a cuppa tea. Gates open at 10am to day visitors and there will be a small farmers market on site, 80ft climbing poles to scale and a display of all your lovely VWs! Vanworx and the New Forest Show are kindly sponsoring the 'Best in Show' class for both air cooled and water cooled Volkswagens and you can enter on the day for free (entries in by 10.30am please). Quizzes and games for kids will be available all day as well to keep the youngsters happy! Saturday night there will be a DJ on site in the marquee for all those camping for the weekend.

Sunday morning a forest ranger should be dropping by to chat to anyone interested in the resident deer population and loal wildlife within the New Forest. The rest of Sunday will be yours to pack up and retreat home as and when you're ready. If you want to stay on additional nights you can mooch on up to Long Meadow campsite, the wardens will happily accommodate you!

Toilets and showers are on site for all to use during the weekend.

Tickets cost £20 for the weekend camping and can be bought on the day. Day tickets are available for the Saturday at only £5 per car, also available on the gate on Saturday from 10am. please come visit - the more the merrier!!
