2002 bmw e46 compact 318ti

Hi.. Ive got a 03 318ti Bmw compact es. e]Every now and then it keeps popping out of 3rd gear is this a possibly fault of the syncrho wearing? its only done 85k and ive never heard of a bmw box giving way.. please need  your help??

First thing i'd get checked out is the shift mechanism, make sure it's engaging properly. May just need a bit of adjustment.

I  didnt knew they was adjustable i thought it was just fixed. how do you adjust them?

god knows on something like that, but it has to be possible. I wouldnt recommend doing it yourself though!
