'84 audi 100 rear disc brake cylinder

(1/1)

JOHN@HEATHROW:
R36,
If you are talking about the brake caliper ([?]),i've been told before that spliting them right down into the component forms require special tools.
I've looked at trying to split one before (Saab one,but the same principle)and must admit i got totally baffled, gave up & got an exchange caliper, much easier [:D],more expesive tho' [:(].

Ross36:
I have got to the bottom of this after a bit of surfing and I have pulled the caliper apart without very special tools. A reader of this forum has written an excellent article at httm:/heneghan.members.beeb.net/audi/parkingbrake/html
which explans everything.
