i had  a diagonistic check on my car due to a abs light comming on.the nechanic said my abs pum needs changing and i can only get it from bwm with a cost of over a thousand pound. my car is a bmw compact1.8i year 2000. is the mechanic having a laugh

helppp.. my compact(1999-2000) is burning loads of petrol, on a cold morning  i have a lack of power seams to be holding back for some reason, car jutters until its warms up,, could it be my air flow valve sticking .. thanxxxxx..

thanks for the info.. fault was airmass meter, breather hose and breather valve....cheers
