Porsche Car Parts Forum / Hi & 968 Brakes

Hi Guys, Just joined here, shame it's so quiet.
It's time to start thinking new brake discs and pads on my 968, there seem to be loads of Zimmermann Cross-drilled 299x24 & 299x28 discs on Ebay, don't seem to be able to locate them on GSF.
Are they fairly long-lived? I've heard that they suffer more from cracking because of the drillings. Anyone have any first-hand experience, do they actually make any difference in normal use?
