Citroen Car Parts Forum / Phillips CD Changer

Hi
   I have just obtained a Phillips RC026 6 Disc CD changer for my 1998 Xsara 1.9TD Estate, However there is no lead for it, but I have found some on the web. The problem is that there are two types. One is 8 pin din to an ISO plug with 10 connections (the plug is red). The other is an 8 pin din to 8 pin mini ISO plug with 8 connections (the plug is blue.) The radio has the part No 22RC465 35S on the label which is stuck on the rear. Which one do I need?. Any help gratefully accepted.

  My Xsara 1.9 Turbo Diesel When warm runs below the 90 deg mark on the temp gauge. The heater runs warm but not hot. Is this normal , i think i read that the engine temp should be 90 deg but the gauge indicats more like 60 to 70 deg.

   Dont know if this has already been covered. But i would like to change the steel wheels on my 1998 1.9 Turbo Diesel xsara estate(185/65/14).Please can anyone tell me if saxo vts/vtr wheels will fit, ive seen some on ebay and they have the same size tyres(and i like the look of them) or would after market alloys be better.

Hi

     I would like to swap the radio/cassette on my 1998 Xsara 1.9td. I have found one on ebay that comes out of a saxo the model No is PU 2294A(which i think is a Clarion). Please can any one tell me if this will work with the steering wheel controls on my car, or is there  a better radio/cd player to use.

  I am new to this, and i am looking for some help. I have just bought a Citroen Xsara 1.9 Turbo Diesel. It's an 1998(s) model and its got 143k on the clock The problem is when its started from cold it blows out a cloud of blue/white smoke for a few seconds which then clears, it also has a rough /lumpy idel. Once the car has been started for the first time it 's ok, and wont do it again unless left overnight.

Any help gratefully acceptrd.
